One of the problems we had with this project was the lack of user information available. Not many people have gone down this route in the UK so far.
Manufacturers seem to underplay the amount of cleaning that is required and the idea of lobbing in a bag of pellets every now and again misses out the lifting involved with the delivery and storage of those pellets.
Because of the problems we had when the original contractor let us down. The speed at which decisions had to be made meant that research was not done as fully as it could have been A larger hopper or Silo would certainly have been a strong consideration. A better understanding of what was going to happen with the domestic hot water supply would have avoided a couple of weeks of fluctuating shower temperatures while a new shower was sourced.
